CHARLESTON, SC — Primus Multifamily is pleased to announce that Matthew Martinez joined the team on March 5, 2026 as Leasing Specialist at The Alden Townes.
Matthew brings four years of experience in Charleston’s student housing market, where he developed a strong background in leasing, outreach, and digital marketing strategy. He previously worked at Summit Place and SkyGarden, gaining experience through ownership and management transitions involving Greystar, Cardinal Group, Homestead, and PeakMade Real Estate.
The Alden Townes marks Matthew’s first role in traditional multifamily housing, and he is excited to bring a fresh perspective to the team.
“I’m excited to be joining the team at The Alden Townes because conventional multifamily will be a new adventure for me,” said Matthew. “Coming from student housing allows me to bring a fresh perspective while focusing on providing excellent customer service and continuing to grow within the company.”
Matthew believes the foundation of a great leasing team starts with strong relationships.
“What truly makes a great leasing team is when everyone feels appreciated and when the team builds strong relationships with one another,” he said. “When people bond and support each other, it naturally creates a stronger team.”
At The Alden Townes, Matthew looks forward to helping residents feel confident and comfortable throughout the leasing process.
“What I enjoy most is being able to take the stress out of the process and help someone find a place that truly feels like home,” Matthew added. “It’s rewarding knowing you helped guide someone to a space where they’ll make memories and feel comfortable every day.”
Originally born in New Jersey and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Matthew enjoys longboarding, making music, and researching emerging cryptocurrency markets.
