We are looking for a new full-time technician at our apartment community. As a valuable member of our on-site management team, your role is to help maintain a clean property and prepare a welcoming home for our residents and future residents.
Primary responsibilities are to ensure all vacant apartments are thoroughly restored to market ready status in a timely manner, make repairs as needed and help keep the grounds clean to uphold curb appeal. This includes all 5 local communities we oversee.
- On-call every 6th week to help handle maintenance emergencies after hours
- Inspects vacant apartments and complete checklist of all needed repairs
- Service appliances
- General plumbing repairs such as repairing small leaks, fixing toilets, and bathtubs
- General electrical repairs such as replacing switches/outlets, check light fixtures, and ceiling fans
- Full apartment painting
- Basic carpentry repairs, rough & finish, sheetrock repairs, and countertops
- Rekey and replace door locks & mailbox locks
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units
- Report to property manager daily on progress
